This Privacy Policy explains how EASYGOODS MART LLC ("EasyGoods", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use easygoodsmart.net, apply for a role through our placement desk, or subscribe to our text message program. It applies to our website and to the services we provide as a staffing and placement company.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, the roles or shifts you are interested in, work history and references you choose to send, and the contents of any message you send through our contact form.
- Application and placement records. Where you are in a hiring process, interview scheduling, onboarding paperwork status, and start-date details.
- Text message program records. Your mobile number, whether you checked the optional SMS consent box, the date and time you submitted the form, and your opt-in or opt-out status. We keep these records as proof of consent.
- Technical information. Standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, used to keep the site running and secure.
We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, date of birth, driver's licence or passport images, or bank details through this website. If a form on this site ever asks for them, it is not ours — close it and tell us.
How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and consider you for roles you ask about.
- To send you text messages you opted in to receive.
- To schedule interviews, confirm start dates, and manage onboarding.
- To meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations that apply to a staffing business.
- To keep the site secure and prevent spam or abusive submissions.
Text message program and mobile information
Our text message program is optional. You join by entering your mobile number on the text updates page and checking the consent box, which is unchecked by default. You can submit that form without checking the box, and consent is not a condition of purchase or of any placement. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. We will not sell or share your mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
We will not sell, rent, or share your mobile opt-in data, including phone numbers and SMS consent, with any third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text message services.
When we share information
We share information only in these situations, and never for someone else's marketing:
- With employers you are being considered by. When you agree to be put forward for a role, we share the parts of your application that employer needs to make a hiring decision.
- With service providers. Vendors that host our website and deliver our text messages, bound to use the data only to provide those services for us.
- For legal reasons. When we are required to by law, subpoena, or a legitimate request from a public authority.
- In a business transfer. If the business is sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction under this same policy.
Your choices
- Text messages. Reply STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to any message to stop them immediately. Reply HELP for help.
- Access and correction. Email [email protected] to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, subject to records we must keep by law.
- Applying without texts. Every role can be applied for by email at [email protected] with no text subscription at all.
Data retention and security
We keep application and consent records for as long as needed for the purpose collected, and for the periods our legal and tax obligations require. We use administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted connections to this website, to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, so we limit what we collect in the first place.
Children
Our services are for people old enough to work legally in the United States. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not direct this site or our text message program to them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes affecting the text message program will be reflected in the SMS Terms as well.
